The engine is very small, but thanks to the gearbox it has quite a lot of torque. When idle it consumes around 30 mA at 5 volts and over 100 mA at full load. One of the two motors purchased was repaired with silicone at the manufacturer and the plug is missing. For the $0.99 paid, it's not a bad purchase.
